Congratulations to Saanvi from Year 4, who had the wonderful opportunity to represent Sherfield at Ruckstall Primary's 50th-anniversary event. She performed a solo singing piece in front of the Ruckstall students, VIPs—including the Mayor—and other attendees, all under the guidance of her singing teacher, Rebecca Cooch. Rebecca had this to say: "A huge well done to all the performers. They did a fantastic job, especially as they ended up being quite 'on show' with all sorts of VIPs (including the Mayor) around, in a place where they didn't know anyone and weren't sure exactly what to expect! Everyone performed so well and made us proud! The Head Teacher of Ruckstall also asked me to pass on her heartfelt thanks to everyone for coming and contributing so brilliantly to the event."
