Year 6 are studying Light this term and, in particular, Shadows this week. Investigations have involved determining the relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection of light rays on a mirror and the effect of changing one independent variable (object distance from a light source) on the size of the shadow cast. The skills of planning, predicting and measuring have all been applied to explore and test the science learned during lessons.
