Year 4 have been studying World War II in history and this week have recreated 1940s wartime dances and a dance to a song about a girl who died during the war, sung wartime songs such as 'we're going to hang out the washing', baked wartime scotch shortbread and Yorkshire puddings using rationed items, drew pictures of London during the war and made model WWII aircraft.
Today they had their 'dress up evacuation day'. Mrs Stewart and Mrs Warmerdam dressed up as Land Girls whilst the pupils dressed up as evacuees.
