Year Two are learning all about Malawi in Geography this term. This week Mrs Karen Chard, former Head of Prep at Sherfield and recently Head of the Good Shepherd School in Lilongwe, Malawi, came in to talk to the children about life in Malawi. She told us all about what school is like in Malawi as well as showing us lots of photographs of the country, including the amazing wildlife. Year Two are busy preparing for a sponsored walk to raise money for Water Aid in Malawi and have researched facts about water and sanitation there and made posters about it.
