The children in Year 1 have been set different challenges each day in order to keep fit, learn life skills and get stuck into creative activities. One of their daily challenges: ‘Get… outdoors’ has been a popular hit amongst the pupils. So far they have participated in mini-beast hunts, outdoor art and teddy bear picnics.
The Year 1 pupils also drew their favourite characters and wrote character descriptions for them in English this week. What young, avid readers they are becoming!
Some of the Year 1 pupils have also been writing postcards and letters to each other to stay in contact and show how much they are missing one another. What a lovely act of kindness and a ray of positivity.
