Year 1 have been learning positional and directional language in Geography this week. The class meerkat, Bogdan went for a walk and left behind some clues as to his whereabouts. The children went on a hunt around the school grounds to find the clues that led to his hiding place – down by the fountain! The children plotted their route onto a map of the school, not forgetting to include an ‘X marks the spot’ where he was found.
