Over the summer holidays Caiden G (Y8) was invited to meet the Mayor, following the Basingstoke Gazette's story on his success at the European Championships.

Mr Mayor challenged Caiden to a race in his parlour! Caiden was honoured to be presented with a Mayor's Award for making Basingstoke proud.
