Recently, a few of our pupils went to compete in the Rotary Technology Competition. The competition was held at BCOT College. The students worked in teams to complete a challenge called ‘Pipeline’. They had to create a motorised buggy that would push debris down a pipe. Sherfield School entered three teams, two from the foundation class and one from the intermediate. The competition was judged on the overall build, completion of the task and design. Our year 9 and 10 team both won the award for best portfolio. A job well done to all three teams who competed!
