Last week the English and Drama Departments took Year 8, Year 11 and Drama GCSE Year 10 on two trips to the Southampton Mayflower Theatre to watch the National Theatre Production of ‘Macbeth’. The staging was fantastic and the adaptations of character and setting evoked great discussion amongst all the students. We were proud to take such well-behaved students and pleased that they had the opportunity to see such an important text come alive from the page.
