On Wednesday 18 March, the UK Government announced the closure of all schools due to the coronavirus pandemic. The staff at Sherfield School have been working closely with our colleagues across the Bellevue Group of schools to proactively ensure all the virtual learning tools are in place to aid continuity of education for our pupils and all pupils across the group. The first day of virtual learning started on Monday 23 March.

Due to our extensive grounds and outdoor learning spaces, as of Thursday 18 June, the School has been able to open to all of our pupils in Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 10 and Year 12 plus Keyworker's children. As well as our full timetable of in-person classes, lessons and activities we are simultaneously offering a full virtual timetable to those pupils unable to come into school physically, including international pupils, and all other year groups.

We are working tirelessly to ensure that all pupils get the best continuity of education possible. We have also worked hard to ensure that the school day resembles the ‘normal’ school day as much as possible. To find out more about our Virtual School set up, please click on the button below.
