Governance
The Governing Body is responsible for ensuring the school is well managed, meets all statutory and regulatory requirements and that communications with parents are in a timely and professional manner. It is responsible for the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school, and ensuring the school meets the independent school standards. This includes having responsibility for central policies, particularly those relating to quality of education and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils. The Governing Board is accountable for the overall welfare, health and safety of pupils; and suitability of staff. Additionally, it supervises school facilities and accommodation and the assessment of leadership and management quality within schools. The Governing Board advises the proprietor on all matters, including investment in the school; and has oversight of school improvement plans and their implementation.
