Our students achieve highly and progress to excellent universities and careers
Sherfield students achieve strong outcomes across both A-Levels and BTECs. These results are the culmination of dedication, perseverance and ambition from our students, supported by the expertise and encouragement of our teaching staff.
A-Level and BTEC Results 2025
This year, an outstanding 63% of all grades were awarded at A* to B or equivalent, reflecting the high standards consistently achieved within Sherfield’s Sixth Form.
Over the past three years, our students have continued to excel, with a three-year average of 20% A* grades and 66% A*–B grades, demonstrating both the strength of our academic provision and the resilience of our learners
In 2025, over 80% of our students went on to study at their first-choice university, and in both 2025 and 2026, 100% of pupils achieved an offer from a Russell Group or QS World Top 11 Ranking University.

Most importantly, every leaver walks out of the doors of Sherfield for the last time as an individual whose character, integrity and compassion make us immensely proud.
Today’s results are, of course, a reflection of academic success, but they are also a testament to perseverance, courage and belief. Behind every grade is a story of early mornings, late nights, moments of doubt overcome, and challenges met with quiet determination. These are characters forged through a rich range of experiences both inside and outside the classroom, experiences that build the resilience required not only for academic achievement but for success in life. Our students have supported one another, lifted each other through demanding times and demonstrated a maturity well beyond their years.
As they step into the next chapter of their lives, they do so not only with impressive qualifications, but with curiosity, confidence and a strong sense of purpose. They leave Sherfield ready to contribute meaningfully to their chosen fields and to the wider world. We have every confidence that they will grasp the opportunities ahead with the same energy and commitment they have shown here.
