Hello from Mr Jamie Gain, our Head of Year 12 & 13 |

Sixth Form is a time when academic ambition meets independence, and students begin to define who they are becoming. Ours is a Sixth Form built on personalisation, intellectual challenge and future readiness. Every student is known, supported and encouraged to aim high. The Sixth Form is a community of individuals whose characters, qualities and personalities are celebrated and recognised. Students shape their own pathway through the range of qualifications offered at Sherfield: A levels, BTECs, AAQs and the Extended Project Qualification. Students are supported by small teaching groups and expert staff who foster depth of understanding and confident, independent thinking. Our focus on skills acquisition means there are ample opportunities to get hands-on experience and connect learning to the modern world in settings personalised to each student’s ambitions and character. Our graduates leave with gold-standard qualifications and credentialled skills collectively awarded as the pioneering International Advanced Diploma (IAD). Academic success is strong, and our students progress to world-class universities in the UK and beyond. Yet Sherfield Sixth Form is about more than academic outcomes. Through enrichment, pioneering educational visits, leadership opportunities, global partnerships and one-to-one mentoring, we cultivate and grow character. We prioritise and foster the qualities and skills that matter to modern employers and universities, but, more importantly, build outstanding people. Sherfield Sixth Form is about building young men and women of integrity, confidence and kindness. Guided by our motto, Ad Vitam Paramus - We Prepare for Life, we develop globally-minded, confident young adults who are ready to shape their futures. I look forward to welcoming you to Sherfield Sixth Form. Jamie Gain
