Real World Maths
Our Year 8 students swapped the classroom for the royal streets of Windsor and Eton as they took part in the annual Windsor Maths Trail!
Armed with clipboards, calculators, and plenty of enthusiasm, students explored the historic town, collecting data, solving challenges, and making observations that will support their exciting maths project work for the rest of the term. From measuring landmarks to investigating patterns and statistics, the day brought maths to life in a truly memorable setting.
The weather was kind to us too, staying dry throughout the visit and giving everyone the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sights and atmosphere of Windsor. To top off a fantastic day of hard work and teamwork, students were treated to a complimentary ice cream in Alexandra Gardens before heading back to school.
A wonderful day was had by all, combining learning, exploration, and a well-earned sweet treat!
