2026Battle of the Bands

A big thank you to everyone who came to watch and support Battle of the Bands 2026 on Friday.
Despite the change of venue from the Fountain Lawn to the Courtyard Studio, it was great to welcome such a large audience and the quality of bands was amongst the highest we have ever seen!

We were delighted to welcome back Sherfield alumnus Oisin Maguire as our head judge for the evening, supported very ably by our very own Lindi Smit, our Admissions Manager.

Both judges commented on the extremely high level and challenge of judging such a competitive field!
The results came down to very fine margins, and the audience's vote on the evening influenced the outco.

Despite the competition, we strongly felt that all our performers were winners and did themselves proud with their memorable performances.

Sherfield shout-out goes to Polly G in Year 12 for giving a wonderful performance during the interval, and Karly in Year 13, for helping our marketing team with photography from the night.
