Take on our CSI-style Escape Challenge together and experience what life in Year 7 really feels like.
Who is the Taster Day for?
The Taster Day is for curious Year 6 pupils.
Whether you're already part of the Sherfield community or visiting us for the first time, our Year 7 Taster Day is a chance to see what makes the school special without having to imagine it from a prospectus.

What to expect at our Taster Day (08:30 AM to 15:30 PM)
- Arrival, registration & welcome
- Meet staff, pupil ambassadors from Year 7/8, and our current Year 6
- Breaks & refreshments
- Team-building event
- Shared lunch
- Final challenge
- Close
For pupils joining Sherfield from another school: there will also be an opportunity to complete the relevant admissions activities during the day. These will be woven into the programme so you can focus on getting to know the school, meeting other pupils, and enjoying the experience.
