We are looking to appoint staff who are passionate about their work and want to help young people be successful.

As part of the GEMS organisation, we enjoy the benefits of being part of one of the world’s leading education providers whilst retaining the ambience of an English country public school, albeit within an hour of London; pupils here have the best of all worlds! Sherfield has seen significant investment in recent months with major developments in 2018 and beyond. The school provides an excellent foundation on which to build a career within the group and there may be the possibility of promotion to other posts worldwide.

For teaching staff, we offer:

  • a competitive salary scale

  • the possibility of single accommodation at a subsidised rate on limited tenure

  • a reduced timetable in the first year and extensive professional development opportunities, which can include gaining a PGCE whilst working with us

  • the opportunity of subsidised education at the school for the children of staff (subject to the usual entry requirements).
