A warm welcome is extended to all our families and visitors
Little GEMS caters for children between 2 and 3 years old. It is a spacious purpose built unit situated in the main building of Sherfield.
The staff in Little GEMS create a happy, stimulating learning environment enabling the children to learn from first- hand experiences including outside play in our superb Sherfield grounds. The building of relationships, confidence and independence in these formative years is central to all that we do.
The curriculum is based upon the Foundation Curriculum:
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Communication, Language and Literacy
Mathematical Development
Knowledge and Understanding of the World (including technology)
Physical Development and Creativity (art, music, sport, dance and drama)
The children have access to specialist staff and are provided with the opportunity to learn other languages and to follow our ‘Fit for Learning’ programme.
Little GEMS is happy, fun and exciting. We ensure that children are ready for Pre-Reception and later learning.
