GCSE Course Details
Every pupil at Sherfield will share a ‘core experience’. To this end all pupils will study the following options:
English Language and Literature
Mathematics (either Foundation or Higher) (IGCSEs)
Science (either three separate sciences or Dual Award) (IGCSEs)
ICT
PCHE (not examined)
Thereafter the pupils can choose four further options from the following:
Either French or Spanish (you may be able to study both with some negotiation)
then:
History
Geography
PE
Art and Design
Religious Studies
DT – Product Design
DT Graphics
DT – Textiles
Drama
Music
Latin (IGCSE)
Media Studies
Business Studies and Economics
One option should be chosen from Blocks 1-5.
